THE COUNTRYSIDE ALLIANCE

Campaign for Shooting
The Countryside Alliance’s Campaign for Shooting, running alongside the Campaigns for Hunting and Angling, is one of the Alliance’s three Key Campaigns aimed at protecting the countryside in general and field sports in particular.

The Campaign for Shooting aims to promote all shooting sports and by forging relationships with existing shooting organisations present a unified position on country sports. Practical objectives are to:
• Redress the balance of ‘Public Opinion’
• Influence decision makers (principally politicians)
• Support and encourage self-regulation of shooting
• Conduct independent research
• Challenge misconceptions relating to shooting sports.
